The rapport you see is real. The respect you feel is sincere. The relationship is genuine. Their words are unscripted and unrehearsed. They are unedited and from the heart.

Our students get a lot from NLU. So will you. Join the conversation.

When we asked our students what they got from their NLU experience, most of them said:

Really Small Classes:
Nearly all of our classes have fewer than 20 students and U.S. News and World Report ranked NLU fifth in the country for small undergraduate class size.

Really good and extraordinary faculty:

What really surprised many NLU students is what they got from our faculty.

Encouragement. Support. Wisdom. Friendship. Counsel. Hope. Understanding. Inspiration. Practical applications. Personal attention.

Faculty who treat them as adults. Who are comfortable with diverse points of view. Who look at each student as an individual. Who expect to be challenged. Faculty who actually teach their classes. Who are good teachers. Who like teaching. Faculty who get it.
