Professional Academic Advisors are available on each campus in the Chicago area and Tampa.
The academic advising staff brings many years of experience in working with college students as advisors and other roles within student services to NLU. It is the mission of the staff to assist students in achieving their academic goals.
While each student is assigned an academic advisor, you are free to see any advisor on your campus in person, or make an appointment with any advisor from any campus for a phone appointment. Each of the advisors can work with students on any undergraduate academic program.
Hours for advising at each campus are listed below. You should plan to schedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance of any appointment by using the on-line scheduling system which you can access through the NLU portal or calling 1-800-443-5522, ext 5900. Walk-in hours listed below are for quick questions. The hours are subject to change based upon advisor schedule, so you should check in advance for availability.

Chicago Campus

Director of the UAAC
Steve Neer serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Academic Advising Center.
