The National Center for Creative Aging

The National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA) is dedicated to fostering an understanding of the vital relationship between creative expression and the quality of life of older people. Creative expression is important for older people of all cultures and ethnic backgrounds, regardless of economic status, age, or level of physical, emotional, or cognitive functioning. The Center for Positive Aging is the Chicago network affiliate of this national program.  We share a partnership with The Center for Creative Aging at Harold Washington College.  Watch for future details for upcoming projects in the arts!


MindAlert Songwriter's Workshop - October 2, 2007
The Songwriter Works event is a collaborative grant sponsored by the American Society on Aging.  The Center for Positive Aging is pleased to be partnered with the following organizations for this event:  Chicago Department on Aging, Rush Medical Generations, Harold Washington College, and Lexington Health Care.
